Abstract
The NHS England scheme to develop the role of clinical pharmacists in general practice is now well underway. With phase 2 of the programme now recruiting, and many practices considering taking on a pharmacist outside of the programme, this article provides pragmatic advice for both practices and pharmacists embarking on this new venture.
