Abstract

With the changes taking place globally in the most diverse segments, many areas had to adjust to accompany such transformations. The field of people management was not different, influencing the most diverse spaces of action, both public and private. The aim of this research was to analyze the perception of the Technical-Administrative Servants in Education of the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) - Campus de Araguaina, in terms of the training policies. To achieve this, we used descriptive and qualitative exploratory methodologies, through a bibliographic survey, and the application of questionnaires to servers with closed and open questions, aiming to contribute to the analysis of the results. In general, the research allowed to verify that in all the points surveyed, the agreement prevails that they are attended, according to the participants' perception. The best-evaluated points are, respectively, the promotion of training; wide dissemination; course objectives; planning based on sectoral needs; positive feedback from training; indication of priorities by the servers; participation of the servers in planning; clarity in the offer of courses; and, the participation of the target public. However, it was found that some points had higher levels of disagreement, such as participation of the target audience in the training actions; the participation of the servers in the planning; and, the lack of clarity in the construction of the schedule.
