Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el efectuar una aproximación a la vida de los menores huérfanos de Toro en el primer cuarto del siglo XVII. De este modo se intenta cubrir un vacío historiográfico, tanto a nivel geográfico como cronológico, sobre un tema escasamente abordado. Para lograr este propósito se ha recurrido a la utilización de las cuentas de curaduría, conservadas en los protocolos notariales de la zona, así como a los litigios incoados en la Real Chancillería de Valladolid.
