Abstract

1. This volume opens with a “Forum: The Conflict in Ukraine and the ‘Weakness’ of International Law”, with one paper titled “International Law in Crisis: Russia’s Struggle for Recognition”. This article deals with some of the most difficult issues in international law, in an impressive manner, although the search must continue. 2. The second part of this volume is a section called “Focus: Cyber-Security beyond the Military Perspective”, with 7 articles on various issues within this basket: international law, cyberspace and the concept of due diligence; obligations of States before, during and after a cyber security incident; obligations of the State of origin of a cyber security incident; mitigating risks; due diligence duties and cyberspace; international environmental law lessons for cyberspace governance; and possible legal framework and regulatory models for cyberspace: due diligence obligations and institutional models for enhanced inter-State cooperation. These articles deal with some most interesting and pressing issues and are a valuable contribution to the debate.
