Abstract

Several E- and Z-configurated cinnamic acid derivatives, all being substituted with a geranyl group, were isolated from the aerial parts of Chrysothamnus pulchellus. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR spectroscopy. The chemotaxonomy of the genus was discussed briefly.
