Abstract
Construction and demolition wastes have been increasingly used as recycled aggregates in concrete production and roadway applications. However, the fine grain portion of these recycled aggregates is usually not considered as a suitable material for such applications, and is thus landfilled. This paper presents the geotechnical and geoenvironmental characterization of a fine grain non-selected C&DW, to assess its feasibility as backfilling material of trenches.
