Abstract
AbstractThe advantage of using two colours for electro-optic measurement of geodetic distances is outlined. The choice of wavelengths used in Georan Iand the influence of atmospheric temperature, pressure and water vapour are discussed in some detail. Georan I is expected to have a maximum range of 30 km and an accuracy of better than O.5 ppm.
