Abstract

The article attempts to answer as to what extent the Union of Young Nationalists drew on the views of the founder of the national movement, Roman Dmowski, and to what extent it adopted the Sanation ideology on geopolitical issues. Also presented is the change in the Union's approach to the question of nation and state in the secessionist organization. Dmowski's works, as well as press articles of ZMN activists were analyzed. Union, which had its beginnings in the Youth Movement of the Great Poland Camp, as a result of conflict with the older generation separated from them creating its own structures. The main goal of the Union was to make a synthesis between the political thought of nationalists and sanationists.
