Abstract

Welcome, if you are new; welcome back, if you are not. If you read our last column, you may recognize that we have changed the Bright Spots format a bit, making it a bit more casual and conversational, a bit less formal. We leave the formal where it must be, the articles in GEOPHYSICS. This month's column highlights some, but certainly not all, of the bright spots in the March–April issue. As always, consider this column your invitation to make the time to give the GEOPHYSICS articles their due.
