Abstract

Welcome to “Bright Spots,” where we direct readers to the best papers in the current issue of Geophysics. For the January-February 2016 issue, geophysics meets alpine hydrology for estimating snow-water equivalents, and geophysics meets uncertainty in a study of the effects of velocity uncertainty on seismic images; in a study of adaptive subtraction methods; and in a new wave-equation-based warping method.
