Abstract
I have had great fun being the SEG Honorary Lecturer for North America this fall. I was impressed by the enthusiasm from students and professionals alike. I was surprised at the diversity; each place focused on different problems and different applications of geophysics. I hope that much of this work will culminate in peer-reviewed papers in Geophysics. Meanwhile, check out the interesting and diverse group of papers below, which were nominated by the editors.
