Abstract
An earthquake with a scale of 7.4 on the Richter Scale has struck Palu, Central Sulawesi and the surrounding area in October 2018. Geologically, Sulawesi Island is a junction zone of collision of several crustal plates which can cause earthquakes. This research is aimed to observe the geomorphological condition caused by the earthquake around the Palu Koro Fault. The research method uses aerial photo surveyed using Drone to produce topographic maps. Analysis of survey data shows that the intense impact of the earthquake is visually seen on the surface morphology around Palu. The fields in the strike slip fault zone are known as the Palu-Koro Fault. The topographic maps from existing aerial photographs shows clear signs of morphological changes occurring around the Palu area after the earthquake. In the triangular facet morphology formed by the fault of the earth's crust, it becomes an important object in morphological observations that can be active triggered by earthquake.
