Abstract

I have found the geometry of the mandala exists deep in the psyche, from its earliest anthropomorphic form to the Systema Munditotius mandala of C. G. Jung. In this article, I define the difference between Euclidean geometry and the descriptive geometry of Jacob Steiner and the geometry of Descartes’ modern mathematics. I analyze these geometries with the philosophical principles of Immanuel Kant, an important influence on Jung’s psychology.
