Abstract

By exploiting the chiral nature of ( p, q) supersymmetry in two dimensions, we obtain exact results on correlation functions in a variety of ( p, q) sigma models. We find that any (2, 0) model with only scalar superfields, as well as certain models with spinor superfields, must have no mass gap. We also identify correlation functions that are independent of the metric, torsion, and connection that describe the target space geometry in ( p, q) sigma models.
