Abstract

A simple geometrical parton model is developed to calculate the energy distribution probability of the central region in multiparticle production. Allowing for leading-particle production and employing some of the parameters obtained at much lower energies, where approximate KNO scaling is valid, the model is used to fit the collider data for p-B; at 200, 540 and 900 GeV. The model is then extrapolated to the multi-TeV region and the predictions forψ(z, s) and σinelND are given.
