Abstract

The geometric phase, being a measure of the curvature of the Hilbert space, is able to capture drastic changes in the properties of the ground state. In superconducting-qubit array, the relations of geometric phase and the quantum phase transition are addressed in detail. The results show that the derivative of the geometric phase with respect to the interqubit couplings strength could reflect the typical features of quantum criticality.
