Abstract

Qualitative interpretation of geomagnetic field above Greenland gives an insight into the depth of its basement (the first magnetically active layer), and the long-wavelength anomalies into the depth of the Moho surface (the second magnetically active layer). In addition, knowledge was gained on the interrelation of this subcontinent with North America, the Arctic Region, and the surrounding seas.
