Abstract

The possibilities for taking into account the interaction between natural and anthropogenic components within the system of water body–catchment are discussed along with the method for geoenvironmental zoning of the area of its maximum manifestation in terms of the impact on the water quality of a water object. Methodical approaches to the problem are considered using the Istra Reservoir as an example. This reservoir is incorporated into the Moskva River system of water supply for the city of Moscow.
