Abstract

The analysis of Fainskoye oilfield is given, its geological structure and development prob-lems are described. By reserves amount the oilfield refers to the average, by geological structure - to complex oilfields. After geological exploration work, it was revealed that the oilfield is multi-layered, in the geological section it is represented by sedimentary terrigenous rocks. The article shows the oilfield geological profile, the rocks of different layers are described. At present, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Tertiary and Quaternary deposits have been discovered in the profile. It has been established that over 300 wells have been drilled at the Fainskoye oilfield over the years of development, most of which are currently out of operation. Oil production reduction is caused by the development of reserves in the drilled zones, an annual decrease in the input into development of additional reserves, a decrease in the productivity of the drilling areas. Decrease in production rates is associated with premature failure of electric centrifugal pumps (ECP) installations, leakage of tubing due to paraffin and salt deposition, as well as large depth of descent of the ECP. An important problem of reducing the produc-tivity of wells in the process of their operation is also contamination of the bottomhole zone of the well. The Fainskoye oilfield is at the final stage of development, that is why various oil recovery methods are applied at the oilfield. The article analyzes an optimal method of oil recovery increasing - hydraulic fracturing of the reservoir, since hydraulic fracturing is also used in cases when an inactive well needs to be put into operation, which was out of operation due to the impossibility of producing oil in the traditional way. Therefore, this method is really relevant in the Fainskoye oilfield, where most of the drilled wells are out of operation.
