Abstract
On the basis of analyzing the whole-process of landslide development, the author summarized the typical geological properties and occurrence condition, and established three typical mechanism models of high speed landslide, i.e. (i) highposition sliding landslide (HP); (ii) energy-releasing and friction-decreasing landslide (EF), (iii) force-inducing landslide (FI), creatively solving the mechanisms of highspeed landeslides.
