Abstract
The paper describes the development and implementation of a sequential process for geological modeling, resource estimation and mine planning for dimension stone quarries. The methodology was specifically developed for a multi-site dimension stone project, which involved 8 different quarries located in the state of Ceara in Brazil, and it included quarry output, market projections and cost analysis for different production and equipment scenarios.
