Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an important indicator to measure success in efforts to build the quality of human life. Binary Logistics Regression Analysis is a regression analysis in which the independent variables consist of two categories. Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression (GWLR) is a local form of logistic regression where location is considered. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that significantly affect the HDI of each district/city in the provinces of Maluku, North Maluku, Papua and West Papua using the GWLR model and to map districts/cities in the provinces of Maluku, North Maluku, Papua and West Papua based on these factors. The result also show that the GWLR model is better used to analyze the HDI in Maluku, Maluku Utara, Papua and West Papua Provinces beacause it has the smallest AIC value.
