Abstract
The article introduces into scientific circulation and analyzes several geographical toponymic lexemes that exist in a number of Erzya-Mordovian dialects of the Samara Volga region. The dialects under consideration contain both geographical toponymic lexemes that are typical for most of the Erzya-Mordovian dialects, and lexemes that do not correspond to the geographical lexicon of the Erzya-Mordovian dialects from other territories. The analysis of the geographical terms under consideration is carried out with the involvement of relevant materials from other Moksha-Mordovian and Erzya-Mordovian dialects of the Samara Volga region, Mordovian dialects of neighboring territories, as well as geographical vocabulary recorded in Mordovian dialects on the territory of the Republic of Mordovia. The work is based on materials obtained by the author during field expeditions to the Erzya-Mordovian villages of the Samara region in 2017-2019.
