Geographical Distribution of the Illiterate Population in Anbar Governorate for the years 1997 and 2018

Abstract

Theresearch deals with the geographical distribution of the illiterate population in Anbar province for the years (1997 And 2018 ). The results of the census for the year (1997) and the field study (questionnaire ) were adopted, as the data for the number of illiterate people for the year (2018) are unavailable. The research concludes that the decrease of the percentage of illiterate people is due to many reasons (social and economic) and many more. The research sums up many conclusions and recommendations that may help those who are responsible for eliminating illiteracy in the province.
