Abstract

The problems related to the implementation of health services are among the most prominent spatial obstacles that contribute to the lack of projects for the health sector within the district. Perhaps the most prominent of these obstacles are the planning obstacles, as the district suffers from a clear population spread with the exception of the district’s center, which prevents the implementation of service projects due to the lack of a gathering A population that complies with the planning standards that focus on two aspects, namely, the population and spatial corresponds to the number of residents. A group of social problems constitute another obstacle to the implementation of these projects due to the customs and traditions that work on the reluctance of the population to use health services, especially with regard to women, and the economic aspects of the lack of Financial allocations, which represent an obstacle added to the previous factors in their direct impact on the health services sector, whether they are the creation of services or the sustainability of a service by providing the health services sector with the required health resources, whether they are devices, equipment and medicines. How much technological problems have played an important role in the decline of health services through the apparent backwardness in the quality of medical devices and the failure to keep pace with technological development, which in turn was reflected in the lack of efficiency of health services provided, and the research found that there is a clear deficit of the health services sector within the district as well as spatial distribution The unbalanced situation that calls for intervention by the planning authorities to develop a clear and correct vision for the development of this sector. The research recommended the need for joint action by the executive and planning authorities to overcome the problems and to develop a clear strategy to extend the health sector within the Ishaqi district.
