Abstract

Abstract Trapping studies of Neocurtilla and Scapleriscus mole crickets in South America and Florida, USA, revealed a latitudinal variation in the flight periodicity of dispersing adults. These data demonstrate that these subterranean insects are able to respond to seasonal cues to optimize their life cycle.
