Abstract

(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2017;129:844–853) With recent changes in access to health care services and the aging populations in the United States, increasing attention is being given to understanding factors contributing to the cost of health care. A recent study conducted by the National Academy of Medicine assessed Medicare costs across the country and found significant geographic variation in cost in the United States.
