Abstract

The investigations of recent crustal movements, although becoming more and more accurate, do not fulfil expectations as far as the forecasting of earthquakes is concerned. Numerous reasons for this state of affairs can be pointed out. One of the main reasons seems to be the lack of a uniform World-wide investigation system. This paper presents an acceptable concept of a system based on a global network with the location of point-stations adapted to the investigations. A project is presented, in relation to the proposed system for a geodynamic profile of Śni≐ka-Borowiec situated in Poland.
