Abstract
This paper summarises the discussion of the potential value of geochemistry in HDR technology. The applications of geochemistry are discussed in terms of the nature and origins of fluids in granitic systems and the mineralogy of the granite. The use of chemical species as reservoir diagnostic tools is also discussed.
