Abstract

Paper presents the results of geo-ecology strategy development for enlargement of Ust-Luga seaport. In study, there are used Foresight technologies, theory of decision making under uncertainties, risk management approach, methods of data bases constructing in case of distributed information platforms, web-technologies and virtual reality tools. Results of natural geo-ecological research are demonstrated. There is shown the way to make Ust-Luga seaport into eco-friendly infrastructural object within natural-industrial system paradigm. As essential research result, authors propose to use geo-information distributed online platforms Earth and EOS as basement of low-cost geo-information and geo-ecological support system for natural-industrial system Luga Bay plus Ust-Luga seaport, which allows to operate with space images from the Landsat-8 and Sentinel-2 satellite systems with limited open access. Examples of using the proposed decision support system are given. The presented in the article results of the research have a significant scientific novelty and can be used in educational and training purposes.
