Abstract
This paper shows distribution of species of the genus Armeria Willd. in Serbia, based on analysis of the herbarium specimens from the collections of Natural History Museum in Belgrade (BEO) and of Institute of Botany and Botanical Garden 'Jevremovac', University of Belgrade (BEOU). A total of 181 herbarium specimens were analyzed, of which 84 are deposited in the collection of BEo and 97 in the collection of BEOU. In Serbia there are three species of this genus: A. alpina (DC.) Willd., A. canescens (Host.) Boiss. and A. rumelica Boiss. Although A. maritima (Mill.) Willd. (= Statice armeria L., = A. vulgaris Willd.) was listed in the edition 'Flora of SR Serbia', this species is not present in the territory of Serbia.
