Abstract

Apple replant disease (ARD) has been observed to cause 50% mortality in fields where apples are replanted, which has seriously limited the sustainable development of China's apple industry. Our previous study revealed that Fusarium oxysporum is one of the causal agents of ARD; however, its pathogenic mechanism is still unclear. In this study, we obtained the draft genome of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. malus HS2 using a combination of long-read single-molecule real-time sequencing technology (Pacific Biosciences [PacBio]) and MGISEQ sequencing. The total length of the assembled was 56,825,273 bp, and the GC content was 47.72%. The genome provides a valuable resource for facilitating our understanding the response of F. oxysporum to apple.
