Abstract

ABSTRACTAlcanivorax sp. strain 97CO-6 was isolated from a crude oil-consuming bacterial consortium, enriched from Yellow Sea sediments from China. Here, we present the draft genome of strain 97CO-6, which contains 3,253,423 bp, with a G+C content of 54.53%, as well as 2,931 protein-coding genes and 42 tRNAs.
