Abstract

A spore killer phenomenon is described ma plant parasitic fungus, Gibberella fujikuroi var. subglutinans Spore killer (SKk) spore sensitive (SKk) and partially spore killer-sensitive (SKmx) alleles exist side by side in natural populations of this fungus. The pi-operties of these alleles are similar to those found in Fusarium monillforme and Neurospora sitophila.
