Abstract
Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an autoimmune disease associated with heredity,environment,infection,drugs,physical factors,and so on,of which,genetic factors play an important role in the pathogenesis of this autoimmune disease.It has been shown that human leukocyte antigen (HLA) loci,especially human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class Ⅱ alleles,are related to BP.Both consistency and variety exist in susceptibility genes for BP among different regions.Moreover,it is likely that non-HLA candidate genes are involved in the pathogenesis of BP,such as cytokine genes,immunoglobulin variable-region heavy chain 3 (IGHV3) genes,Km genotype,and Fc gamma receptor genes.Large-scale studies are required to investigate into these candidate genes.
