Abstract

Social attachment is central to human health, and becomes significantly disrupted in many devastating neuropsychiatric disorders, such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and schizophrenia. Mechanistic understanding of attachment disruptions in these disorders has been limited as standard genetic model species do not display adult attachment behavior.
