• Results would propose a correlated response in the resistance of WSSV and AHPND in Pacific white shrimp. • In both genetic lines would expect small to moderate advances by selection for the resistance indicators for WSSV and AHPND. • Genetic (co)variance components for resistance indicators of WSSV and AHPND are influenced the inoculum dose and line origin.
