Abstract
The theses touch upon the comprehension of a new genetic and genealogical methodology for the study of pedigrees, which began to be massively used at the beginning of the XXI century. DNA testing by Y-chromosome (patrilineal inheritance), mitochondrial DNA (matrilineal inheritance) and nuclear (autosomal) DNA (mixed inheritance) allows verification of documentary genealogical information by natural scientific methods of DNA research as a «biological document».
