Abstract
In this paper, we propose a simulation model to generate an optical single side band (OSSB) signal for 5G modulation format which is called Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM) using semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). The OSSB and optical double side band (ODSB) signals are investigated.
