Abstract

One new method is proposed to synthesize a laser field via the superposition of single-color and hyper-Gaussian pulses. The numerical analysis confirms that our scheme is efficient for the production of an isolated super-bright attosecond pulse of a sub-atomic unit by controlling the hyper-Gaussian parameter, which could provide one way for the final realization of an attosecond pump and attosecond probe technique. Finally, we further demonstrated the experimental feasibility of this method by examining the dependence of the higher-order generation spectra on the laser wavelength and intensity.
