Abstract

We present a method to design and fabricate a micro diffractive optical element to generate a superposition of high order Bessel beams. This device, constructed via two-photon polymerization, is able to generate beams with orbital angular momentum with a controlled number of rings. The results of the tests match well with the predictions of the proposed theoretical model. This superposition may be useful for optical trapping and microscopy in scattering medium.
