Abstract

The generalized Stokes-Debye-Einstein relation for the rotational diffusion coefficient of charged Brownian particles strongly interacting with dipolar solvent molecules, is evaluated. The problem is treated in terms of generalized electrohydrodynamics with microscopic expressions for molecular variables. Our results are based on the exact solution of generalized Hubbard-Onsager electrohydrodynamic equations.
