Abstract

A 15-year-old boy presented with an exacerbation of early-onset atopic dermatitis (AD), an overall slump feeling without fever and newly developed skin lesions. Occipital examination showed a 4 × 5 cm, painful, erythematous, multilobular node with purulent exudate on a red-to-purple base, surrounded by multiple papulonodules (figure 1A).
