Abstract
Generalized Heisenberg commutation relations and a Hamiltonian are proposed for relativistic harmonic oscillators. Using a Lie algebra and Schwinger's dual-bosonic representation of x, p, and the Hamiltonian, expressions for the quantized energy are derived and a revised uncertainty inequality for ( Δx) 2( Δp) 2 is given.
