Abstract

A static exact solution of Einstein's field equations is obtained when the region of space-time consists of a coupled electromagnetic and zero-mass scalar meson field. This solution has been built up from the 'Curzon' particle solution. The solution does not represent directional singularities as the origin is approached contrary to what has been established in the case of pure scalar fields by Gautreau.
