Abstract

Based on the Hartree-Fock calculations reported earlier, the ground-state properties of N = Z even-even nuclei in the 2s-1d shell are investigated within the generalized BCS approach employing T = 1, T = 0, and T = 1 + T = 0 pairing correlations and the modified Yale and supersoft core potentials. Comparisons are made with similar less sophisticated calculations reported earlier for the same nuclei using the Yale potential.
