Abstract
The current study aimed to reveal the generalized anxiety level and its relationship to the quality of life of pregnant women visitors of maternal and child health centers in Irbid governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive correlational methodology was adopted, The researchers used the Sharif scale (2020) and the translation of an international scale, (Dule, et al, 2021). That were distributed to a sample consisted of (350) pregnant women visitors of maternal and child health centers in Irbid governorate. The study results showed that the level of most domains of the generalized anxiety among pregnant women visitors of maternal and child health centers was high. The level of most of quality of life among pregnant women visitors of maternal and child health centers was medium. The results also showed that there were no statisticaly significant differences on the variables of the study except the emotional domain, and these differences in favor of pregnant women of age (less than 30 years). In light of these results, the study recommended the need to reveal the level of quality of life among pregnant women to work on reinforcing and developing them.
