Abstract
The condition given in (5) of the paper “Intrinsic ICI-Free Alamouti Coded FBMC” accomplishes the desired property, i.e., ICI-free performance of frequency reversal alamouti coded FBMC. However, this condition is sufficient but not necessary as it corresponds to a subset of the solutions. We show that this condition can be relaxed to cover more general solutions. This generalization allows more beneficial waveform generation such as decoupling peak power minimization at the two TX antennas and no need of null insertion to the center subcarrier.
