Generalization of adomian polynomials to functions of several variables

Abstract

The solution of nonlinear differential and partial differential equations by the decomposition method due to Adomian [1–3] requires his A n polynomials to represent nonlinearities. A convenient algorithm [1–3] for generation of the A n for an analytic function f( u) is generalized to the case of an analytic function of several variables f( u, v, …) where f is not factorable into f 1( u) f 2( v)·;.
