Generalised predictability in the synthesis of biocarbons as clean energy materials: targeted high performance CO2 and CH4 storage

Abstract

Biocarbons may be predictably synthesised towards exceptional energy related gas uptake at 25 °C; 5.4 mmol g−1 CO2 @ 1 bar, and methane storage of 334 cm3 (STP) cm−3 at 100 bar with deliverable capacity of 262 cm3 (STP) cm−3 (for 100–5 bar).
